This week...
I. Followed up with a friend after our call going through our pitch deck. Narrowing in on our niche and simplifying the amount of content to make it more digestible and still entertaining. Also side note an afternoon iced tea with a little lemonade has become a favorite lately mixed in with my messy desk.
II. Mulling over our actual launch assortment for DTC. Between the parallel of ProTallow Body Buttercream and Vegan Tallow-ish Body Buttercream and doing a small vanity tray of products at launch. Something that sits beautifully together on a silver tray and feels intentionally designed - one tall, one short, one tube, one small like a curated tiny bookshelf. I'm no artist but I do love little sketches of what could be someday.
III. Found an Italian silver tray manufacturer that could make custom Otho beautiful trays for our initial launch. When I graduated college the senior gift in my sorority was a silver tray engraved with 'Kappa Kappa Gamma' and at the time I didn't have a home for it but now it has a permanent place on my vanity.
IV. One personal one - my best friend taught me the treat of having a freezer ziplock of cookie dough. Making a batch and then baking a few at a time. This and cut up fruit were kind gifts after having my first baby that now forever hold a place in my heart.
