White bounce houses draped in pastel balloons have added a sweet castle surprise to my little girl's birthday parties over the last three years. This has been a kind and generous gift from my mom on the bounce house side and my mother-in-law on the balloons side, and it's something that has been fun to dream up and see what the experts can create. We're located in San Diego and have worked with Because Balloons and Lux Inflatables the past three years, and would highly recommend them both!
First Birthday - a wildflower wonderland

My parents live on a lake in San Diego, and it loved the little daisies dancing in the wind along the lake :)

Cake and cupcakes from Flour Power in San Diego that has sadly since closed.

Second Birthday - a bountiful bow (inspired by Studio Mcgee!)

This year's cake was inspired by Rachel Parcell's little girls party. Layers and layers of buttercream frosting - yum.

Third Birthday - a princess palace

The little flower details on the bounce house made it feel extra special.

The 'white pearl necklace' balloons were a whimsical idea that Because Balloons suggested - I didn't have much of a vision this year besides something fun and unique for a princess party and my little one loves necklaces so this was another special surprise!

Lovely cake from Susie Cakes Bakery in Del Mar.

My mom always threw us the best birthday parties growing up and she kindly has done the same for my little ones. Cutie birthday girl table by Grandma Honey :)

A little different than my usual beauty musings, but this has been an unexpected one that stuck with my heart and made me happy.

PS adding in a verse I read on my daughter's first birthday. She was born in the spring and this one felt extra special to my little wildflower girl's day.
