Currently listening to Tiffany Masterson’s interview on Rebecca Minkoff’s podcast “Superwomen” - Rebecca asked the question how Tiffany handled it when people didn’t take her seriously as a stay-at-home mom and her answer was every single time a door was closed she looked at it like two opportunities and “a God-thing, where He was helping me choose my path when I would’ve been unsure.”
Praise the Lord! I’ve been listening to podcasts from beauty founders for years now, and I’ve always felt like God isn’t mentioned enough (ever) and in starting this brand I want to be so comfortable talking about that I’ve prayed about each step, put it in Gods hands and trusted Him with the outcome, and any amount of success I want to praise Him and give Him the glory. I was thrilled to finally hear someone give God credit🤍
Rebecca replied that so many women have rejection and see it as a sign to give up or that they’ve failed, where really it is “God opening up another opportunity for you.”
Tiffany finished with “it’s a gift, we don’t like it when it happens but later on 9 times out of 10 we can see now we’re grateful that didn’t happen.”
God can see the whole picture and His plans are so much better than our own.
I’m so thankful for Tiffany and Rebecca’s words here. Appreciate them sharing and pray that if I ever have the opportunity to do so I will share about the good things God has done with eloquent and kind and honest and simple words.

PS - prepping this week for our first in person presentation of the brand to the HSN beauty team - thank you God for the meeting and big prayers for whatever the outcome may be. Also so thankful for the woman who has brought all of the dreams in my head to life on paper. I’ve had these thoughts for at least ten years now, and seeing them become tangible is surreal and exciting and nerve wracking and I’m excited to take this next step and trust God with the outcome.
