Back with week two of 'Follow Ups' - this week was a little lighter on the follow ups as summers been coming to an end and my oldest starts preschool :) Crazy to think we're officially starting the school season of life and leaving the no plans season of being extra little.
This week...
I. Worked on the deck for our luxury line of Tallow and Vegan Tallow. Learning that really good tallow is really expensive. Finessing how to use it as a wonderful base ingredient vs being the brand's whole identity. This deck will be used to pitch vendors on our products to help get started without a massive order upfront. I'd love to go this route and grow slowly but steadily, but it's definitely a new path vs our usual route.
II. Not Otho related but YRD related, our parent company (YRD) just received huge answer to prayer news today. Each year we have a few key orders that drive a majority of the business. They had actually been unexpectedly pulled a month or so prior and we were praying on what to do next; through a ton of work on my dad and brother's part (along with the whole team) the orders came back up for discussion and just got approved today! Praise the Lord for that!
III. Had a follow up call with an awesome digital agency that we're hoping to work with here shortly. I found them after watching With Love, Meghan on Netflix and loved that she included the website creator's info at the bottom of As Ever's website for others to reach out to them.
IV. Dreaming of how to also include blue and white China in Otho's packaging along with cut crystal inspirations. A yummy Houjicha matcha tea latte with flower sprinkles as a morning treat the other day. Also with flowers sent from a sweet friend after visiting a few weeks ago.
V. One personal one - took my sweet daughter to get her hair cut (for the first time!) to get ready for preschool next week. She got to sit in a Minnie Mouse car and my son got to sit on a street bike. So darn cute.
