Happy October! It finally felt cool here in San Diego, excited to start wearing sweatshirts again. Love the cozy feeling of a hug from a good oversized sweatshirt. This week...
I. Mailed out a thank you note for the lovely call I had last week and it feels darn good to be thankful. Laney Crowell recommended this stationary and its extra special with this paint pen. I'm not sure the pen is even meant for letters but it gives old school ink splats and I love using it every time.
II. Not beauty but worked on the branding for our sister cleaning brand Teko and its exciting to take beauty and interior design concepts and apply them to cleaning (and gardening and others too). The wonderful creative director who is helping with Otho is also helping with Teko and everything she creates just feels good.
III. Have been having fun dreaming over on Pinterest. Do you use Pinterest!? I've recently heard Gwyneth Paltrow and Shea McGee and Paige Lorenze all reference using Pinterest and I don't know why but I was surprised that they still do too. It feels kind of dated over there in the best way. A little slower and extra pretty.
IV. Have been thinking on this verse extra this week - Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight." I read this book written entirely on the passage and its made the verse sink a little deeper.
V. Also cosmos grown from seeds and homemade sourdough bread with blue and white china and unlacquered brass faucets making my dishes feel extra lovely this week. Thankful for beautiful zoomed in little views and the zoomed out view that includes my counter full of the day's bags and preschool artwork and snack leftovers.
