Hi hi,
Hope your week is going well! This week...
I. Have been thinking about our candle branding and how we can be eclectic and still cohesive. I have always loved they way Diptyque varies their font and letter placement, the label's dancing letters are charming yet distinct. What's another way to do that? Otho is rooted in heritage and I've always felt drawn to story books, so my initial thought was each label being a story book page. Torn out with a large drop cap letter. Still like this idea. Was also leaning into book bindings. One bookshelf looks cohesive with a modern title, vintage title and fiction title sitting next to each other. Different fonts, different colors, different art, different stories. Yet all cohesive. Dreaming up how our beeswax candle variations, and maybe even skin care jars, could reflect a well curated bookshelf.
