Follow Ups XXV

Hi hi,

Twenty five has some exciting news - officially launching our beeswax refills and vintage Diptyque soon and cannot wait.

I. We only have a limited run to start and are thinking of doing the Vintage Diptyque Filled Beeswax candles as a sort of mystery box. Each one a 6.5oz filled candle but the jar is a little surprise. What do you think?!

II. A bit about the beeswax. The beeswax comes straight from Texas. A run of medium colored honey wax that has a true, traditional honey scent. While fragrance-free, still naturally sweet and perfumed the way a warm breeze smells when it picks up the flowers petals.

The hard wax smells soulful, like something good is inside. The lit wax smells like warm molten honey. Sticky sweet but subtle enough that you can take a deep breath of warmth and feel better for it.

Notes of carmel, a little spicy heat and brown sugar. Like looking back at summer days as a little girl through a grandmothers kind eyes, knowing how sweet those moments are and watching your little loved one sit in them fully care free. Watching hers unfold and remembering your own at the same time, filled with stories of “when I was a little girl…”





III. Met with a mentor of mine last week and she has so helped me hone in on what is really important for the brand. I lean towards long format content (YouTube, blogs, substack, etc) and have realized in building our brands story that my words lean that way as well. There is romance in long format that is lovely, but not right for all occasions. Thankful for her time and guidance towards intentionally editing. Also have had so much fun learning more about her and hearing her stories.

IV. “Be at home in your body” — “Good products that spread the good news” — Pillars of true luxury ingredients, interior design inspired tactile experiences, experiencing beauty on different levels as your interact with the products. Making your skin feel more beautiful and being a treat to enjoy as you use them. Generational. Being at home in your skin no matter what’s on it or in it, from eczema to wrinkles to herpes to cold sores to acne to psoriasis to dryness. Being at home with whatever you’ve got, and finding beauty and being thankful for the home (your body) you get to live in.

V. Keep an eye out for our beeswax launch!! Working on the web pages this week and hoping to be live by next week or shortly after.

VI. Working on a new launch for our cleaning brand, tekoclean.com, and bringing a little beauty and interior design to your counter spray real soon. Here’s a sneak peek at a few potential designs! Technicallyyy confidential but you can keep a secret right?! Loving the wall paper-esque route, that’s been my dream for this line. Leaning into the wallpaper layering that’s happening in interior design right now. Not everyone can wall paper their walls but getting a little taste of it in your cleaning products sure feels special. Hoping to give our labels a linen feel and lean into different wall papers for different drops. Working with a wonderful creative director from the beauty industry on this and it’s my favorite to bring a beauty perspective to other categories. 



VII. My first official patent launches soon! My dad actually surprised me by putting my name on the patent and it was such a surreal and sweet gift. I love ideas and don’t care whether my name is attached or not, but I love officially being part of our family’s invention heritage. Our garden brand, berninifountains.com, is bringing the first ever Filtered Garden Nozzle soon. Treat your garden like you treat yourself, since you are what you eat right?! This one is another application of beauty to a different space. Leaning into filtered shower heads and bringing a little beauty industry outdoors.
