We’re reading John 6 in our Bible study right now, and Jesus takes fives pieces of little pita bread and two tiny dried fish and feeds 5,000 men plus women and children. A little boy offered his small lunch to share and Jesus made much out of little.
A few years ago I started Otho Cosmetics with a few candles at QVC, with the dreams of growing the line into something much bigger. I worked full time and had all the hours and resources to make it happen. The launch came and to be honest it was not the huge success I’d hoped. The products were great but the sales did not come through as strong as needed. I had plenty of time and resources and the launch didn’t take off.
Now I’m a mom of two, and between naps I have about thirty minutes a week that I’m putting towards this dream. My main priorities are to love God, love my husband, love my children, take care of our household, support my family’s company working very part time, and finally build this beauty brand that’s still a dream of mine. I have very little being put into it right now but am praying that if it does succeed it will point straight back to God, and show that He was the one that made much out of little.
